ABOUT OYKA PAPER PACKAGING 

OYKA Kagit Ambalaj San. ve Tic. A.Ş. operates in the production of kraft paper and bags made of kraft paper.

OYKA, which was a paper processor until 2003, bought the SEKA Çaycuma Factory and became a paper producer since then.

OYKA Paper Packaging, the only integrated kraft paper factory operating in Turkey, has an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons/year in paper production and 220 million pieces/year in paper bag production.

Brown Sulphate Cellulose, Standard Kraft Paper, Packaging Paper I-II-III, Klupak Kraft Bag Paper, Wet Strength Paper, HP Klupak Kraft Bag Paper and Krafliner paper are produced at the facility.

Factory Information

Pulp and Kraft Paper Factory

The facility, which was purchased in 2003 and is the only operating integrated kraft paper mill in Turkey, has an annual paper production capacity of 100,000 tons. Brown Sulphate Cellulose, Standard Kraft Paper, Packaging Paper I-II-III, Klupak Kraft Bag Paper, Wet Strength Paper, HP Klupak Kraft Bag Paper and Krafliner paper are produced at the facility.

Paper Bag Factory

The total capacity of the paper bag factory, which serves with 3 lines in order to meet the needs of its customers in the cement and non-cement sectors, is 220 million pieces per year. An 8-color printing machine for the food, seed, chemistry, mining, gypsum-construction chemicals and cement sectors was put into operation at the plant for the first time in Turkey and made available to the sector.

1963  

OYKA Adana Factory starts production under the name Adana Paper Bag Factory.  

1970  

OYKA Çaycuma Bag Factory established under the name SEKA Çaycuma Corporation.  

1998  

OYAK purchases 50% of OYKA Adana Factory shares.  

2002  

OYAK purchases remaining 50% of OYKA Adana Factory shares.  

2003  

OYKA purchases SEKA Çaycuma Factory from the Privatization Board of Turkey.

OYKA Çaycuma Bag Factory Line I established.  

2011  

OYKA Çaycuma Bag Factory Line II established.  

2013  

Adana Factory is shut down and all machinery and equipment transferred to Çaycuma for the establishment of Torba Factory Line III.  

2014  

Bobbin packing machine put into operation.  

2015  

Petrocoke grinding facility was commissioned.
